District Planning ~4,000-Acre Annexation — Could Affect Parcels Near Your Operations The General Manager outlined an upcoming board action item to annex roughly 4,000 acres into the district that were inadvertently left out during the 2018 annexation. All parcels either already receive district service or have district assets on them. The district has coordinated with Landwatch, whose attorney indicated no major concerns. Seaside parcels are currently excluded at that city's request, though three parcels surrounding district infrastructure may still be brought in. Stakeholders/residents within or adjacent to these areas should watch for the formal action at the August 17 board meeting.
