1. Board Approves $800,000 Grant-Funded Monitoring Wells Project The Board approved Resolution 2025-GSA04 to construct two additional groundwater monitoring wells at the District's Booster Station D site using $800,000 in remaining grant funds from the Salinas Valley Basin GSA. These wells will fill a critical data gap in the groundwater monitoring network after the Monterey Peninsula Water Management District destroys an existing problematic well (FO-10) near Lightfighter Drive. The project must be completed by February 28, 2026 to meet grant deadline requirements.
