1. Five MLRP Project Agreements Authorized — 11-Project Pipeline Totals Roughly $4.7 Million The board authorized the General Manager to sign agreements for five Multi-Benefit Land Repurposing Program (MLRP) projects—Hall, Naraghi, EliJen, Espinosa, and Burroughs—subject to final legal review. Tri-State was included in the program update but was not on the agenda for approval and will return at a later meeting. Counting Tri-State, four pilot projects, and a project approved in August, the pipeline comprises 11 projects with combined budgets of roughly $4.7 million. Practices include extended multi-benefit fallowing, orchard-swale rewilding, constructed basins, and stormwater ponds. Staff said the portfolio’s size and diversity were well received at an annual meeting of MLRP block grantees.
