1. Draft Periodic Evaluation and GSP Amendments Release Imminent — Public Comment Period Opens Mid-September Staff announced that the draft 2027 Periodic Evaluation and draft Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) amendments are expected to be released on Monday, September 14. The public comment period will run through October 26. Comments specific to Local Management Levels (LMLs) are requested by October 14 so they can be included in the SHAC meeting packet for their October 28 discussion. These drafts contain proposed changes to groundwater level monitoring, local management levels, and land subsidence criteria, and include draft Local Management Level language for public review.
