KNDLA May Join Kern Subbasin Cost-Share Program Currently, KNDLA is the only GSA in the Kern Subbasin (aside from Henry Miller and the City of Bakersfield, who aren't KNDLA members) not participating in the subbasin-wide cost-share for SGMA activities. Three cost-share options have been presented ranging from $28,000 to $95,000 annually based on a $250,000 total allocation, with methods including developed acres only, a blended approach, or a pool method. The board did not make a final decision but agreed to let this discussion continue at the basin level.
