Water Supply and Operations Update:
The district currently has approximately 869,000 acre-feet of total water supply through August 31st, with about 596,000 acre-feet used and 273,000 acre-feet remaining. Surface water use in August was on track with projections, though the district is trending about 20,000 acre-feet ahead of forecast. The rescheduling cap remains at 119,965 acre-feet. San Luis Reservoir is unlikely to fill, and the rescheduling period cannot be extended to the end of the water year; staff expects to end the year right around ~120,000 acre-feet of carryover.
