1. Extraction Fee Invoices Issued — Member Agencies and Private Well Owners Billed Member agency extraction fee invoices for fiscal year 2026/2027 were issued in July, totaling $644,952 based on three-year average extractions of 4,178 acre-feet. Private well owners were also invoiced $15,108 for January–June 2026 extractions (91 acre-feet) to close out FY 2025/2026. For the prior fiscal year, actual private well extractions came in at 205 acre-feet versus the 197 budgeted — a small overage of about $1,100 beyond what was assumed, which Executive Director Bryan Bondy noted reflects improving accuracy now that private wells are metered.
