1. South-of-Delta Water Allocation Increase Expected Within Days Friant Water Authority leadership indicated that a South-of-Delta agricultural allocation increase of 1–3% (above the current 25%) could be announced within 24–48 hours of the meeting. A 1% increase is well-supported by available water supplies, while a 3% increase assumes operations will meet or exceed current projections. FWA has been actively engaged with the Bureau of Reclamation and other contractors to push back on requests for a much larger increase that could carry risk.
