1. $152,000 in DWR Grant Funding Restored — Immediate Impact on District Finances A previously lapsed Department of Water Resources grant has been extended, putting approximately $152,000 back on the table. Roughly $80,000–$90,000 in recent expenses (PG&E electrical work, fencing at the Redwood Valley well site) are now reimbursable. Construction must be completed by year-end and final receipts submitted by the end of March. General Manager Walker indicated the remaining ~$75,000 should go toward finishing water quality sampling (Title 22) and final permitting to bring the well online.
