The board voted unanimously to waive all penalties for well registration and flow meter registration until after August 31, 2026. The original March 31 deadline technically remains in place, but no fines ($120 per well registration, $120 per flow meter registration) or punitive billing (highest crop factor) will be enforced before September 1. Staff asked that forms be submitted no later than July 31 so AMI endpoints can be installed in time. This gives growers significantly more runway to complete paperwork and coordinate meter installations.
