1. True-Up Invoices Are Due May 7 — Modification Requests and Appeals Also Due Then If you received a True-Up invoice issued on March 23, your payment, any modification request, and any formal appeal must all be submitted by May 7, 2026. Staff has received 28 modification requests (surface water reporting, cover cropping credits, fallowing adjustments, account merges) and only 1 formal written appeal so far out of 327 accounts. If you have a modification request in progress, your invoice will be reissued with a new 45-day payment window after May 7 — you do not need to pay the original amount on May 7. Five refund requests have been received so far; staff noted additional refund requests may result as some modification requests are processed.
