Major GSP Update and Amendment Coming in 2027

The amendment will address recommended corrective actions from the Department of Water Resources (DWR), including revisions to water quality standards, interconnected surface water criteria, and domestic well protections. Staff emphasized this is a major work effort that will incorporate updated groundwater models, new monitoring well data, and refined sustainable management criteria throughout the coming year leading up to the 2027 submittal.
