1. Well Registration Is Now Mandatory — Outreach Push Expected for Fall The MKGSA has officially made well registration mandatory for all landowners in the Mid-Kaweah area. Staff reported that while there has been no significant pushback from growers, most are waiting until after harvest to complete the process. Staff members Diana and Andy are available to meet growers at their ranch, office, or the GSA office to help complete registration. Expect a major push in September–October; don't wait until the last minute to avoid bottlenecks.
