This adoption fulfills a remaining requirement for the district, already a GSA, to operate under the basin-wide GSP covering its portion of the basin.
Agency Committed $90,000 to JPA, Impacting Financial Position: Following a December 1st special meeting, the Board agreed to contribute $90,000 to fund the Joint Powers Authority (JPA) through June, leaving approximately $100,000 in reserves. Board President Laurie Gage emphasized the importance of maintaining a financial cushion and requested specific milestones from the JPA including an annotated draft budget and funding mechanism outline by January 7th, with a finalized budget before the March meeting to allow adequate time for district review and feedback.
