1. Two Major Optional Tasks Approved to Improve Basin Management
The East Turlock Subbasin GSA TAC approved two critical optional task orders from EKI Environmental. Task Order 7 ($77,500) will re-evaluate subsidence management criteria to make compliance simpler and more aligned with state requirements. Task Order 9 ($128,900) will refine and update the groundwater model with current land use data, improved boundary conditions, and better surface water delivery representation. These updates are essential for the 2027 periodic evaluation and will provide more accurate projections for future basin management decisions.
