All six groundwater monitoring locations showed declining levels compared to June 2025, with the most significant drop of 96 feet observed at the Kern Water Bank monitoring location. While conditions are worsening year-over-year, staff noted that all wells remain above their 2022 lows. Recovery operations from the Pioneer, Kern Water Bank, Joint Use, and ID4 projects are underway, having begun in May and June.
