Well Registration Program Shows Strong Response
Over 2,500 wells have been registered since the May 1st requirement took effect, including 1,225 domestic wells and 978 agricultural wells. The GSA requires registration of all wells (not just agricultural) to create a complete data set for management decisions, with a November 30th deadline; staff will return to the Board in December for direction on any post-deadline fee approach.
