1. Electric customers will receive a half-cent per kWh credit starting in June. Purchase power and fuel costs are tracking significantly lower than what was built into base rates — $125.9 million projected vs. $143.5 million collected through the reference rate. As a result, TID will apply a $0.005/kWh credit beginning with the June billing cycle, providing meaningful relief heading into the summer rate period. The adjustment is automatic under existing policy and requires no board vote. General Manager Brad Koehn confirmed this will be communicated via TID's customer mailer, key account outreach, and the district website.
