1. 2026 Irrigation Season Set: 48 Inches Available, Starting March 12 The Board approved the 2026 irrigation season with 48 inches of water available per acre — the highest water-year type. The season runs Thursday, March 12 through Wednesday, October 28 (231 days). Water orders open Wednesday, March 11 via waterrequest.tid.org or the call center (Mon–Fri, 7am–5pm). Replenishment water above 48 inches is available to in-district growers at the Tier 4 rate of $20/acre-foot with no cap. Garden head rotations will be every two weeks on a normal (non-cutback) schedule.
