Groundwater Subsidence Mitigation Triggers Under Development The District is working on finalizing methodology for addressing subsidence triggers as part of the Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) revision. If two or more monitoring sites show excessive subsidence for more than two years, demand management actions would be triggered for all parcels between those sites using interpolation. The methodology requires that at least 50% of a parcel be within the triggered zone to be subject to restrictions. They expect to have a methodology by around late March 2026, though Doug mentioned an original target of January 2026.
