1. State Board Will Deny All Exclusion Requests — Including PID's The State Water Resources Control Board has issued a staff report recommending denial of all exclusion requests from probationary reporting and fees in the Tule Subbasin. PID GSA will be submitting formal public comments ahead of upcoming State Water Board meeting (April 7), and staff also referenced an April 21 staff discussion date regarding exclusions/reporting. Legal counsel Aubrey Mauritson noted the staff report contains "blatant errors" and that the denial appears inconsistent, as State Board staff is not recommending removing exemptions for Delano-Earlimart Irrigation District and Kern-Tulare Water District despite similar or lesser management efforts.
