1. Butte Subbasin Evaluation Approved for Filing The board unanimously approved Resolution 2026-04, authorizing filing of the Butte Subbasin Periodic Evaluation for water years 2021–2025. Chair Jim Wallace described its finding of sustainable groundwater conditions as encouraging. The evaluation, prepared by Montgomery & Associates, did not require an amendment to the Butte Groundwater Sustainability Plan. Its updates include changes to the well inventory, subsidence monitoring and groundwater thresholds. The filing decision is not a state approval of the evaluation.
