Kings Basin Sub-basin GSAs are developing water allocation methodology, with draft numbers circulating among six of seven GSAs. The district is working with other GSA managers to establish a methodology for dividing the native sustainable yield across the sub-basin, with most GSAs agreeing to move forward by end of 2025. McMullen Area GSA plans to wait until 2030, creating potential uncertainty for coordinated basin management.
