The GSP 5-Year Periodic Evaluation Was Reviewed — No Plan Amendment Proposed This Round Michael McAlpin of GSI Water Solutions presented draft Chapters 2–4 of the GSP 5-Year Periodic Evaluation covering water years 2019–2025. Across all five sustainability indicators (groundwater levels, storage, water quality, land subsidence, and interconnected surface water), no undesirable results were observed during the evaluation period, and minimum-threshold exceedances were limited and recovered following wetter conditions. Only a handful of monitoring wells briefly dipped below minimum thresholds during critical/below-normal water years, and all recovered when wetter conditions returned. Because conditions are stable, the GSA is not proposing a GSP amendment now but will consider one before the 10-year periodic evaluation.
