1. MLRP Grant Extended One Year; More Projects Headed to the Board The state legislature approved a one-year extension for the Round 2 Multi-Benefit Land Repurposing Program grant funding, pending the governor's signature (considered very likely). On the project side, one full-scale MLRP project has been approved by the board with a landowner agreement being finalized, and two additional projects were approved by the Department of Conservation last week. Staff indicated that five full-scale projects—plus the four existing pilots—were expected to be brought to the board for review and approval at the September board meeting, with three more in the pipeline.
