1. Water season is underway, but supply outlook points to a July shutoff — August extension unlikely. FID's water routing analysis projects that running deliveries through a full July would leave storage around ~104,000–106,000 AF by month's end, with risk of going negative if extending into August. Staff indicated there is not enough supply to extend into August. The district is operating on roughly 55% of average April–July Kings River runoff, and the May snowpack sits at only ~22% of the April 1 average—though that is the highest percentage in the state. A final determination on season length is expected at the June regular meeting.
