Agricultural Well Moratorium Extended Through August 2027 — YSGA and County Working on Path Forward The Yolo County Board of Supervisors extended the existing moratorium on new agricultural well permits within the Focus Areas through August 25, 2027. The YSGA Board approved appointing representatives for monthly 2x2 ad hoc meetings with County Supervisors to help frame issues and coordinate next steps. A group of concerned citizens requested formal avenues of dialogue with the YSGA, including subcommittee representation and a meeting to review the work plan, well permitting verification process, and drought resiliency program.
