1. SGMA Compliance Achievement and Work with DWR
Tulare Irrigation District staff noted that the district is now out of probation and moving under Department of Water Resources (DWR) review, which they said puts the district in a better position than neighboring areas still working toward SGMA compliance. Aaron emphasized that, because Tulare ID acted earlier and is “in a good position,” the district wants to coordinate with other basins and DWR so that timing and pumping allocations recognize the timing of its actions.
