The Board Approved Technical Responses to DWR — Keeping the Basin's Groundwater Plan Review Moving The board unanimously approved technical memoranda responding to the California Department of Water Resources' (DWR) request for clarification on the basin's Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) Amendment and 2025 Periodic Evaluation. These memos address groundwater levels, monitoring and reporting, land subsidence, water quality, interconnected surface water, and plan implementation. Staff noted the October 1 deadline for submission to DWR.
