1. Groundwater Pumping Across the Basin Is Right at the Estimated Sustainable Yield Limit Consultant Curtis Lawler from Stetson Engineers reported that total groundwater use across all three management areas (CMA, EMA, WMA) in Water Year 2025 was very close to the sustainable yield estimated in the 2022 Groundwater Sustainability Plans. While no undesirable results have been triggered in any management area, this indicates pumping is near the estimated limit and is an important consideration for future development planning.
