The GSA found that electricity-to-water conversion rates vary significantly based on well depth, pump condition, and system setup—meaning power bills alone are unreliable without a current efficiency test. Staff planned to send out a notice next week, so growers who intend to use this method should begin planning/scheduling pump tests.
