The DRIP Collaborative is a California task force established in 2023 by DWR that brings together state agencies and diverse stakeholders to coordinate drought planning, emergency response, and build resilience to water shortages. It develops recommendations through annual progress reports on key focus areas including drought data systems, domestic well preparedness, land use planning, water infrastructure, and climate change adaptation.
