Pumping Limit Policy Now in Effect with Tiered Pricing Structure As of January 1, 2026, the district's pumping limit policy is officially active. Growers will receive quarterly updates on their upper and lower aquifer pumping status to help manage usage throughout the year. The pricing structure includes a base allocation of $13.44 acre-feet at standard rates, $35 per acre-foot for usage between 100-125% of allocation, and $70 per acre-foot for anything exceeding 125% of allocation. Invoicing will continue on a six-month cycle.
