1. New AI-Enabled Board Management Software Was Previewed Staff introduced a proposed new digital board management platform developed in partnership with Water One AI, replacing the previous BoardPack system whose costs had escalated after an acquisition. The software allows board members to view agendas, review materials, take notes, highlight documents, and — critically — query the district's full archive of historic minutes using natural language questions. It also offers meeting briefings summarizing upcoming meetings. Board members should expect new or updated tablets in the coming months along with training on the platform.
