1. All Four Priority MLRP Projects Approved and Moving to Contracting The Westlands Water District Board of Directors approved funding for the four highest-scoring Multi-Benefit Land Repurposing Program projects at its July 21 meeting: Pasahero Phase 2, Los Gatos, Westside Community Cooling and Resilience Center, and Section 21 Recharge. Contracts with applicants are expected to be signed within the coming weeks, and once the Department of Conservation (DOC) approves their monitoring plans, project construction can begin.
