Tribute to Mike Kavarian and His Legacy at TID The District mourned the loss of Water Distribution Department Manager Mike Kavarian, who passed away after more than four decades (about 44 years) of dedicated service to TID. GM Brad Koehn and President Frantz honored his contributions to managing one of the state's most complex canal systems, shepherding the district through major transitions including automation, SCADA implementation, and development of regulating reservoirs. His impact on TID irrigation operations and commitment to serving farmers with fairness and integrity was described as permanent and irreplaceable.
