1. Eastern groundwater levels hit 33% below MT in Spring 2026, but undesirable results are evaluated on consecutive Fall events — so no "undesirable result" has been triggered yet. Spring 2026 monitoring shows 13 of 40 wells (33%) in the Eastern Principal Aquifer fell below minimum thresholds, matching the fall 2025 result. Under GSP rules, an undesirable result requires three consecutive fall events exceeding 33% — and only one qualifying fall event (Fall 2025) has occurred so far. The eastern portion of the basin continues to show the steepest long-term declines, with some wells dropping 9–16 feet since Spring 2021. The GSA's commitment is to arrest these declines by 2027 and begin raising levels after that.
