1. Basin Remains Sustainable with Strong Groundwater Conditions The Water Year 2025 Annual Report showed no undesirable results across all sustainability indicators. Groundwater levels stayed above minimum thresholds in 91% of monitoring wells, basin storage increased by approximately 7,000 acre-feet, and total groundwater extractions of 187,900 AF remained well below the sustainable yield of 235,000 AF. The basin experienced a cumulative increase in groundwater storage of 139,400 AF from 1995-2025.
