Stony Creek 5-Year Recharge Permit Now Operational with Initial Diversions Completed The Corning Subbasin GSA successfully diverted 42 acre-feet of water over 5 operational days under the new 5-year temporary permit for groundwater recharge. The program utilizes pumps operating at the 90th percentile flow threshold when both Stony Creek and the Delta are in excess conditions. Two of three planned recharge sites are currently operational, with equipment performing well even in saturated conditions. The program runs through March 31st, providing opportunities for additional recharge if winter rains continue.
