1. Board Approves $1.9M for ASR Well Pumps and Motors The board approved increasing contingent funding for the contract with Specialty Construction, Inc. in the amount of $1,917,254 to purchase pumps and motors for the Accelerated Drought Response Project (ADRoP) ASR wells. The cost came in higher than the original $1.5–$1.6 million estimate because several wells ended up exceeding 1,000 feet in depth (versus the anticipated 800–900 feet), requiring additional stainless steel column and shaft. The four wells vary significantly in capacity — from 400 gallons per minute (Well 4) up to 1,600 gallons per minute (Well 1) — and this work was intentionally held as a change order until actual well data was available to properly spec the equipment.
