Daily ET Monitoring Tool Approved for Growers The District has partnered with Land IQ to roll out a new daily evapotranspiration (ET) monitoring tool at a cost of roughly fifty cents per acre per year. This voluntary program allows growers to track daily water consumption against their water budgets throughout the year, rather than waiting for monthly reconciliation. The tool provides daily ET data, precipitation tracking, and forecasting to help growers make irrigation decisions before exceeding their water budget allocations. Growers can claim their fields through an online portal and set target water use limits, with the system showing them if they're trending toward overuse.
