Staff presented the 2026 irrigation season preview projecting 48 inches per acre with replenishment water available, meaning no cap for in-district growers. The normal water rate schedule applies at $60/acre, with Tier 1 volumetric charges at $3.23/acre-foot (up from $2.70 last year as part of year two of the rate increase); anything over 48 inches will be charged at the Tier 4 rate of $20/acre-foot. Water ordering opens Wednesday, March 11, with first deliveries Thursday, March 12, and the season running approximately 231 days through October 28. The board will formally consider adopting the irrigation season at the March 3 meeting.
