1. Civil penalty collection procedures approved
The board approved procedures to address accumulated penalties for late semiannual extraction reporting. In its late-reporting review, staff reported $11.5 million in civil penalties assessed to date, approximately $1.3 million waived and $280,000 paid. The assessed tally excludes variance-related and certain credit-card-related penalties; it is not the amount still owed.
