The Board received a staff recommendation (in meeting materials) to invoice penalty fees for two operators who exceeded their 2025 Central Management Area (CMA) allocations. Sunrise Olive Ranch exceeded by ~107 acre-feet ($26,702.50 penalty) and Tri-County Pistachio exceeded by ~5.5 acre-feet ($1,375 penalty), both at the Tier 1 rate of $250/AF. Per Board policy, over-pumped volumes will also be debited against each operator's 2026 allocation.
