Because this is a formal plan amendment (not just an update), a public hearing will be required for final approval — likely in November or December. The CGA board committed by consensus to a 10% reduction target for conservation as a cornerstone of the updated Projects and Management Actions (PMAs). The full plan amendment is due to DWR by end of January 2027.
