In response to a board member's question, staff confirmed that cumulative rate projections over the next decade would roughly double current rates, driven primarily by capital infrastructure investments (Anderson Dam retrofit, Rinconada treatment plant, Pure Water Silicon Valley) and inflation on treatment chemicals and energy, with additional long-term pressure from regional projects such as Delta Conveyance, CISC, and Sites.
