Directors discussed that this could lead to upward adjustments to minimum threshold levels in the upcoming five-year GSP update, meaning the basin may consider revising minimum groundwater level thresholds in that area. The subsidence zone runs roughly from the edge of Galt north toward the Rancho Murieta area, with the Borden Road corridor on the higher side.
