1. Deadline Extensions Granted for Inactive Parcel Delineations and Well Registrations The Board approved extending the deadline from January 31, 2026 to February 28, 2026 for growers to delineate inactive parcels or fields in the Groundwater Accounting Platform and to register wells with flow meter attestations. As of the original deadline, 351 parcel delineations and only 37 wells had been registered. Staff acknowledged that since this is the first year of the Groundwater Allocation Rule, many growers are still becoming aware of the requirements, and the extension will not impact consumption accounting since the irrigation season has not yet started.
