1. Water Exchange Could Help Cover Demand Through an Average February Year-to-date usage reached 104,132 acre-feet, within 162 acre-feet of last year’s pace. Staff reported a 100% Class 1 allocation of approximately 97,000 acre-feet, discussed borrowing up to 13,000 acre-feet from the Delano-Earlimart Irrigation District (DEID) through an exchange, and cited 13,500 acre-feet of PID water. Staff reported a remaining PID-water balance of 11,797 acre-feet and said available water could cover an average February. Total usage was trending toward 112,000–113,000 acre-feet.
