The transition from Eastern Tule GSA to PID Basin Safe is taking longer than anticipated due to complications in converting water types, APNs, and field identifiers. Staff is working with Four Creeks to resolve static 2020 data that wasn't regularly updated under Eastern Tule, while PID manages its accounts at a much higher frequency. Until migration completes, growers cannot see groundwater pumping history in Basin Safe—only surface water deliveries. Staff advises keeping meter readings manually and waiting for system updates before reporting.
